The JJC QR-7DL Quick Release Plate is an ultra-compact and lightweight quick release plate that is custom designed to snugly fit a CANON EOS 7D camera.
Machined from 6063T6 industrial strength aluminum, it follows a weight-saving hollowed-out design. It also features an anti-slip lip that prevents the camera from rotating, especially during vertical shots.
This plate follows the industry-standard Arca-Swiss design, which also makes it compatible with quick release components from other manufacturers (e.g. Arca-Swiss, Acratech, Kirk, Foba,Graf/Studioball,Novoflex, Wimberley, et cetera).
Right-angle quick release “L-Plate” fit the base of your camera, allowing easy access to its battery pack or I/O ports. Quickly release, turn, and remount your camera for either a horizontal or vertical shot ? no more flipping your tripod head on its side or upsetting your shooting position. These plates work especially well when you”re using shorter macro, wide-angle, and tilt-shift lenses.
